Reading 4 Weather Forecast

I just got on accuweather at http://www.accuweather.com and put in the zip (17517) for Denver, PA to get their 15 day forecast. Here it is:

Friday 4/11 Partly Sunny, high 49, low 27
Saturday 4/12 Cloudy with some sun, high 49, low 22
Sunday 4/13 Cloudy and cold with chance of flurries, high 42

By contrast, the week before (April 4,5,6, the original dates for Reading) the forecast was for partly to mostly sunny skies with temps in the high 50's to around 66 during the day.)

But a lot can change in 12 days...

Weather

Bobby and I were up in the area working on the rally yesterday. It was snowing like crazy. Wasn't laying until we went into the mountains. There was like 2 inches on the road! Last year there was a dusting of snow on the ground for the meet.

rain is better than snow for this

the 48 hrs of tristate (nasioc) this year they came through snow, they lost a car in the first few miles because some truck had lost it's driveshaft which was then burried in the snow. destroyed the thing,

and the rest arived w/ the front ends caked in slush ice.

rain is ok
everyone's got some rain worthy tires right?

Rain worthy? Ahh - no. The azenis handle rain fine but standing water = hydroplane. I hear they really stink in snow too.

The snow WAS gone here as well...until a few days ago when about 6" or so decided to fall. Actually most of western Canada was getting snow at the same time.

It's slowly going away though. I still see snow on the ground when I look out the window at work.

i wish i could go, but just want to tell you all to be careful! i picked up my SVX in early April and had to drive across PA to get it. there had been no snow in Pgh. for a while, so i took the 928. up through the mountains in the middle of the state there was a total blizzard - one of the worst i'd ever seen, and it came out of nowhere within minutes. i was going less than 30mph on the highway and still spun the car 3 times and almost put it in a ditch. watch out for that strange weather in central PA!!! (and have fun, and a beer for me )
