Red face What a Rush

well...it could have been very very bad, but i missed this A-hole who decided to turn left across my lane at the very last second as i was going through the intersection. i did a little barry sanders juke move and dodged him and my heart is still racing, i only missed him by like three feet. im pretty happy with the handling that the SVX is capable of as i have never really pushed it before. what a great safe car

Exclamation same thing happened to me

Driving down 50 here towards Orlando. I was in the left hand lane (closest to middle turning lane) driving my SVX, with my Dad a couple hundred feet behind me in a huge Ford Van.

Then all of sudden a person turning left from the other side of the road pulls out too far into my lane and stops...so I immediately jerk the wheel to the right, and just missed the stopped car by 3 feet, but then a corvette was racing up the right lane and I had the to step on the gas to make sure he didn't run into the back of me, and jerk back to the left.

The whole time my dad was watching from the van and couldn't believe the stability of the car under such high speeds. He called me on my cell phone right after all this happened and said "I'm suprised your car didn't spin out when you were dodging back and forth" and I said, "The car never once felt out of control!"

as of right now, 17 yr olds can get a liscence with many restrictions, such as times they can drive...no 16yr olds can drive unless they are driving farm equipment...tractors and pickups. 18 is when you get a "real" liscence. i don't know where you went in NJ, but when i see a kid in a benz, i know that mommy and daddy got some big wallets must be nice

Kelli

LBI...is a really rich area...snobby for the most part...nice place to see, but don't chill with the locals

Very intersting. The two signs are saying the same thing in different ways.

Meanwhile, a friend of my son's came over the other night and said he'd seen a white, wingless SVX in town (I never see another SVX). He said he'd cut the guy off and received a "digital gesture" in the process. I told him that was typical of SVXers. Ironically, on my way into town, a person ran a stop sign and I had to aggressively apply the brakes. I called him a name (much to the chagrin of my kids), and, just before delivering a digital message, realized it was my son's friend. According to him, later, "he didn't see me." RIGHT! I was burning both headlights and foggers. No way.
