Foucus

I work at a ford dealership how do you like the svt? as I rented the base mode. Good offf the line punch, but no top end passing. I still think the svx in a straight line would smoke almost any four banger out there except for the turbo ones and maybe the s200 depending on driver. Ii smoke preludes, gsr's and gay si's all the time and I can take a new 5 speed v6 mustang stll get burned buy the gt's but not when it's wet

ROTFLMBO! Well alltrac, I hope you were a Buc fan...it will help you get over your hangover...

Thanks for asking about my Focus....I love the SVT. I take it for its first oil change in about a week. I don't plan on drag racing anyone with 170hp, but it is a beautifully balanced car, and the handling is absolutely superb. It came with every bell and whistle I could want, so all I can say is....so far, so good.

I just wish the weather was better, so I could drive it more..

Cool

Since at one time this thread had something to do with football, I congratulate Randyii, & his home team, them guys in the red uniforms.

Now for the rest of us who only watch this event for the commercials & cheerleaders, I must say I've never seen such a waste of commercial hype. Nothing remotely clever, particularly creative, funny or memorable. Big downer in my grumpy opinion.
Oh, what was that Chrysler coupe thing exposed in pieces during quarter one? Looked hot!
Yup - a big TV wasteland.

Ron. (doin' the rave).

Man, you had to love the Budweiser "Clown walking on his hands ad." I thought I'd pee my pants on that one. Otherwise nothing particularly enjoyable . . . well, maybe the Mastercard ad was slightly clever, where Ronde and his brother were at the counter and you thought it was going to be the same old ad, then, the girl said, Oh, I know -- You're at home watching the super bowl and you're playing in it. That was kinda funny.

Cangrats, Randy ii.

Ron,

You shouldn't denigrate Randy's writing skills like that . It could be worse. We could go back to Madison Avenue and leave the blue grass perspective behind.

It seems that "commercials" are less about product & more about one liners that appeal to the frat boy set. Perhaps amusing first time around, but how many times must I watch puke on the windshield before I declare, "Ya' know, I really want to buy that product because .....Uh, just what was the product anyway"?
Then again, maybe it's just me being moody.
Dunno', Ron.

You must be in a mood. Have you put your hormone patch on this morning?

IT'S BEER, RON! Beer is beer (basically), so, ya gotta figure out how to merely make yours stand out from the rest. I'm afraid the days of simply whistling for Mable, are long gone.
