How fast do you drive? Or should I ask how slow?
Grand Junction is only 3 1/2 hours from Denver, so it can't possibly be 7 hours from Monument!
But I can understand about the finals........

Actually, it is two weeks before finals, and I checked (my dad told me and it didn't seem right) and it is less than 5 hours out there. I need to check a few things tonight, but I may make it!
I will let you know if I will be able to make it. It all relies on the weather in the end though-- if it is snowing....

We'd really love to have you as the token representative from the front range! LOL!
But I know what you mean about the weather. If you need any further info, or want cell phone numbers, etc. PM me.

Ah c'mon! In good weather it's only a 4 hour drive!!! It's an SVX!! You can set the cruise at 85 all the way (if the roads are dry)!!!

We want you here!!
Here is where the action is!!!

Davie,
We're really just planning a day thing, but if folks want to stay over and do a weekend thing, then we can accomodate.
Let us know what you want to do.

Michelle, I'd love to be there - Reading's just too dang far away. I just want to be confident the transmission will get me there and back.

It's about 7 hrs from here, so I'd probably need a place to stay Saturday night. Can you recommend any places?

Dick,
There are several hotels here in Grand Junction including Best Western, LaQuinta, Holiday Inn, Days Inn, Adam's Mark, Super 8, Motel 6 etc. I've never stayed in any of them, so I can't tell you how any of them are.
Let me know if you need any further info.

If weather permits and not too much is going on with school, I'll be there also.
