Is there really no beverage holder (besides my hand) in an SVX???

Have you tried the between-the-knees technique? (A little dangerous with hot drinks).
No cup holder, but you can buy them. Another member recommended a Wedgie, said you can get them at Walmart. I just stick mine in the center console, I have so much other stuff in there that it stays upright. btw, I see you're from WA, check out the northwest forum.

check out my locker for a pic of the cupholder i'm using. i have the Walmart Wedgie, too, but it kinda interferes with the passenger. its not real "deep", so i was kinda nervous sticking a tall cup of coffee in it. this is actually my third consecutive car with no cupholder

the Walmart Wedgie feels good when you get in your pickup and head home to your trailer.
 what is it about Walmart that attracts a certain "breed" of people? there's one here in the Pittsburgh suburbs that is a magnet for NASCAR fans, rebel flags, and incomplete sets of teeth.

hey, i shop there, too - their tools are decent. i'm no sophisticate, either. luckily i work at a place where i can wear my usual "business attire" - jeans and a T-shirt. its just that the Walmart near me ISN'T in a depressed area, and thats what makes it unusual. the NASCAR crowd might be understandable further south, but this is Pittsburgh. i didn't mean to offend any toothless Dale Earnhardt fans
, but i'm really not some snooty snob. the "breed" of people i was talking about was the kind of people you see on Jerry Springer, not people that just look for good prices. i shop at K-mart, too, which is basically the same as far as prices and merchandise, but it just doesn't have the same crowd as Walmart.

I have some that hook on in front of the passenger to the lip of the swede section.
On walmart? Hmm it's basically capitalism at it's best. They come in and undercut the local shops, then they slowly raise prices and eventually everyone in a small-med sized town is employed by them and this gives them just enough money to buy more walmart stuff. I shop there but I hate going in there cause I spend more $ than I need to whenever I enter there. -mike

The local Wal-Mart in Owensboro is the social mecca for everyone. If you haven't seen someone in a long time, just go to Wal-Mart, and you'll run into them. Our Wal-Mart seems to cross all socio-economical boundaries. In fact, Sam himself, used to be a frequent visitor.

I'm a Nascar fan too. Probably the only one left that roots for Richard Petty's #43 Team,.... but at least I'm not on the "who-ever is on top" band wagon
