One of the most 'Beautiful' women I have ever met.

My 'Bride of 24 year lost her mother on Monday. 'Martha' lived here for the last 12 years.
She never failed to 'thank' me for allowing her to live under my roof. When I did some small thing for her, she always said, "I'm glad 'we' married you"!
I LOVE this woman!
She has 'served' our Country during WWII, then raised 4 children that did not end up sucking the life's blood out of our 'systems'.

She talked about her 'scooter' that she used to deliver 'messages' on the base. I found a pic of her and the 'scooter'. She passed on Memorial day. (Just her style!) A WWII vet 'passing' on Memorial day , 70 years after she joined the Army. I could write VOLUMES about how much I LOVE her! Then, I could write more about what she did with her life. Then I could write libraries about what her kids did. (and are still doing)

This woman has changed the WORLD!! Gertie Martha Wilson, we LOVE you!

My 'sweetheart' that I kissed on the head and told her that I LOVE her for the last 12 years. She is going to be a tough act to follow!
We lived under the same roof for 12 years and NEVER had a problem that involved 'raised voices'.
This woman is 'one of a kind'! How many readers of this 'post' can say that they NEVER had cross words with Mother-in-law?

I lost a FRIEND!! My wife lost her mother, the WORLD lost one of the BEST people that ever walked!
I held her hand for an hour after she passed. I hoped that her 'POWER' would invade me and make me a better person.
Some people have no one to 'guide' them.
I've had my wife's parents and my own parents!
Since I'm almost 60, I'm down to my Mom. All others have passed.
Talk to your 'people' before the mind goes! Make sure that they KNOW that you 'love' them while you still have the chance!
Learn all you can about 'where you came from' and 'how you got to where you are'. Do the same thing for your 'spouse', if they are too 'stuck up' to forgive past transgerssions.

Old people ROCK!! They have 'been there, done that'! They will save you a lot of grief if you just ask!!!!!

Looking at that picture gave me an image of what she may have looked like riding around the base. She attracted many looks as she rode by. It sounds like she was a wonderful person and she impacted many lives besides her family's. I am sorry to hear of your loss.
