CEL blinks these codes.
First off the engine has been transplanted into a different chassis, so pulling the P code isn't possible as there is no connector for it.
Using the flashing CEL method these are the codes I have. 24 15 18 16 17 19 Any ideas on this? Code reference sheet http://downloads.eatoncanada.ca/down...%20rev%207.pdf I called the local autozone and they don't have a code book for 89+ |

Re: CEL blinks these codes.
I'm not sure what you're asking for. Is the engine OBD1 or OBD2.
These codes from an OBD1 engine indicate: 15. Fuel injector #2 16. " "#3 17. " "#4 18. " "#5 19. " "#6 24. By-pass air control solenoid valve or circuit |

Hmmm... It appears to be an injector issue. I have the BPACS deleted. But the injectors, wtf would cause 5/6 injectors to puke an error? They have ground at the ECU plug, they DO NOT have power under the 'on' position. I'm pouring fuel out of my exhaust manifold while cranking. All grounds have continuity to the chassis. LOLOLOL  |

Re: CEL blinks these codes.
Hmmm... so no power while ignition 'on' means they're closed. But how can they be stuck open with no current and dump fuel?
Aside from the injectors being stuck open, would anything else keep this engine from running? |

If fuel is running out the exhaust, then it must be coming from some where like the pressure regulator vacuum pipe? You will have to look at all the wiring that you have changed. Harvey.

Well, it's only coming out of the driver side manifold. Something very weird is going on with the wiring. Everything I've wired in is correct as far as power, ground and merging ignition 'on' power goes. I just re-multimetered the injector plugs. .2volts with ignition 'on'. |

Would this point to the wire harness prepper being at fault? I'm not above making an error, but at the same time the number of cross references I've done for accuracy would point away from myself. Though if I am at fault I have no issue in facing that. |

Do you read the same voltage on all the injectors? Harvey.

Re: CEL blinks these codes.
Can anyone tell me the COLOR of the wire on the ECU plug that is used to clear the code by grounding it out?
Is it the 'read memory' blue and white wire? |

Re: CEL blinks these codes.
Got it, grounded it out, code still present. Thank you for taking the time to look!
Using a multimeter we found that the injectors polarity is backwards. Instead of having a communal +12volt they have a communal +.03 volts ON THE NEGATIVE side of the connector. All grounds and positives check out on the ECU power. Everything has been merged correctly, at least what I have done. What the heck would cause the ECU to spit out .03 volts instead of 12 AND spit out the incorrect polarity? I'm at a total loss here as to what I should try/do next... |

I still does not sound like there is 12V supply to them. Ment to add. The .03V is just a floating voltage from the turned off switching transistor. Harvey.
