you know whats funny? My only ticket is a 30 over the speed limit. The funny part is it was only a 20 dollar ticket. The cop forgot to add another zero, needless to say i did not try to mitigate it.

Congrats Alan

They are really good cars, even if they are not quite so elegant as an SVX. They are not, of course, quite so cramped inside either!

Has yours got the humongous high testosterone spoiler on the boot lid, or the more discreet one? Or is that an option in the States?

Joe

We dont have the more 'manly' spoiler available here in the states. I guess they think we can't handle the extra power it generates!!

Extra drag you mean.

They should stop selling these ricer cars with 3 foot tall spoilers, and just equip them with flashing lights on the roof. Less drag at speeds over 100, and more people will look at you, which is the point of the big spoilers.

PS: How do you guys manage to get out of tickets like that? I was going 17 over once and my ticket was 160 dollars. >:|

I got pulled over one day doing 3 mph over the speed limit, and the cop gave me this long ass bull**** story about how I shouldn't be speeding. He even asked me "did you know you were doing 38 in a 35?"

N-e-wayz....to make this short.... he said, I'll let the speeding violation go, but I'm gonna have to give you a ticket for your neons (Green) , tint, and sticker across windshield. Each ticket was $40 each but he wrote them as Fix-it tickets, but there was no way I was taken all that stuff off.
So I went to court and the judge let the neons ticket go becuz they were written as illegal side makers, and I told the judge they are under my car not on the side, and they were green. The judge also threw out my sticker across windshield ticket becuz I showed him that the sticker didn't come down any further than my sunstrip. But the judge did leave me with the tint ticket of $40, which I paid.

Oh.......and a follow-up to this story....2 weeks later, I get the same ticket for the sticker across windshield from the same cop, but this time I didn't have any kind of moving violation, he chased me down just to give me a ticket for my sticker. I even told him that I went to court and was dismissed of the ticket, but he said I don't believe you. I even asked him if he remembered giving me a ticket 2 weeks ago for the same thing, and he just told me to sign the new ticket or I was going to jail.

So this was my experience with the Jacksonville Sherriff's Office, and I'm so glad that they are working so hard to make Jacksonville streets a safer place.

Here's what you do: Go to barnes and noble, pick as many "Bill me later" subscriptions to as many bad magazines as possible, fill out and don't leave prints.

Bad credit for years I tell ya.
