I'm putting in a new engine!!

Thanks to everyone's advice on whether or not my '92 engine would be a straightforward drop into my '97.

My mechanic has been especially diligent in making sure it's do-able and he confirmed today after calls with Subaru Canada and the local dealer's chief mechanic who is an old friend of his, that it can be done.

He's started the donor motor (1st time in 5 years) and it ran well so the work is booked for Wednesday next week!!! Needless to say, I'm stoked.

Re: I'm putting in a new engine!!

Great to hear! Should be pretty straight forward but if there are any issues or questions, feel free to ask.
