Re: Farm, 2011

YANKED the tree down friday nite. Sat, I cooked a mean breakfast for everyone, An 'electrician' joined us for breakfast. He spent 7 HOURS 'ringing out wires', digging at 'what was there'.

PI$$E$ me OFF!!, AFTER 6 HOURS of an electrician 'BEING' on site, we FOUND where a junction box had been opened, and 2 wires CUT!!
We searched EVERYWHERE for the problem! Then we found 'SABATOGE'!
Then we tried to turn on the stove. NOTHING'. We checked the source, NO FUSES!, send a guy 15 miles one way to get fuses, ($12.00), an HOUR WASTED, fuses installed, NO 'burners work on the range, but the oven works.
'hot surface' lite comes on, but no 'hot surfaces'. NOW I gotta take the RANGE apart and see where THOSE wires are CUT!
The well has wires cut too. We are hauling water from the creek to flush the toilet, and water from the spring to cook and wash dishes.
Now, I have to pull the pump, (95 feet down) examine the wires, decide what goes where, re-install the pump, re-hook the cut wires, repair the busted pipes that were smashed 'just to set me back', and PRAY that the toilet will flush again!

I will NEVER 'RENT'ANOTHER HOUSE!!
IF you cannot afford to BUY a house by age 25, you have WASTED you life!
IF you are over 25 and still RENTING, you are wasting your FUTURE!!

It SUCKS to be ME last year! I have learned a few 'trix' since then!

The 'farm' is going to survive, Randy will help that happen. Before I an 65 years old, Randy will OWN it! (if he stays dedicated) He has 7 years to convince me!

Re: Farm, 2011

Hired a 'Property Manager'.
He went down and did an inspection. He found fresh bullit holes in a truck and the electric meter was UPSIDE DOWN! (it was running backwards)
He called the power co and they sent a bucket truck down to cut the lines off at the pole!
Now they don't have free heat, the well no longer works, and they get to pack in the DARK!

Badmood?

Either Jerry has split personalities, a distinct possibility.

Or we've been hijacked.

OK,OK, OK,
So I go into the HR dept, and the "interviever" tells me that She wants to talk to "me"........

And I say;
"Sure, which one of do you want to talk too?"

So now I work at home.

I hired a 'property manager'. He did everything that he was supposed to do. He kept the criminals from stealing what was LEFT of the 'dream'.
He waded through the mud, cleaning up the MESS that was left behind.
He was there 'looking out for ME' for over a month!
Then, someone filed some BS, BOGUS charges against him. He was on parole, (I KNEW that), so his life took a turn for the worse.
He has been locked up for the last 30 days on an 'accusation', but the criminals that SCREWED ME for 13,500$ are free to commit WELFARE FRAUD and STEAL from OTHER hard working people!

Jerry,

I can completely sympathize with the frustration over the legal system -

in OCTOBER, I got hit on my bike. Here we are, 7 months later (I just returned to work!) and I still haven't SEEN the scrap-heap that was once my almost brand new motorcycle. The COPS can't be bothered with silly questions about where it is, when I can see it, or how the "criminal charges" are progressing against this women. They refer me to a District Attorney type lawyer, who then ignores me.

Luckily, I have a good lawyer, so the CIVIL side of things (so far) are coming along swimmingly! However the way the cops (and bear in mind this is a State Police investigation, not a town) treat this is laughable.

If your friend needs a good lawyer, I might be able to refer you to one

Actually, the property manager brought Randy down to help. Then he got picked up on some bogus charges. At this point, John is 'not available', so Randy has been my 'point' man.
Randy is 18, knows a little about everything and wants to know more.
We work well together and he follows the 'list' that I leave him while I'm at my job. He is always cleaning stuff and getting rid of trash.
TODAY!!! We did our FIRST 'for pay' JOB! Randy will be putting the taillights back in tomorrow and cleaning up the rest of the car so it can go home monday!
That is the FIRST 'Positive cash flow' from those shops since september of last YEAR! (and I earned that!)
We have been cleaning and repairing 'malicious distruction of property' since January! 3 months getting ready for THIS day! Randy came on board Feb 15th. This is the first time I have been able to hand him money that we 'earned' in the shops!
He's had some small 'paydays' by hauling scrap in and I've brought him food and gas, but he has been working for a place to call 'home', where HE decides who and when company calls.
He has been sleeping on other peoples couches since his Mom died a few years ago. ( he does not get along with his step-mother and I understand)
Now he sleeps in a King sized bed, in an 8 room Rancher with 3 shops on 7 acres, attatched to the mountain that he has been killing deer on for the last 4 years!
I found out that his Dad would park at the end of my driveway and they would hike to the top of the mountain. Now, he can park in the carport and drive the 'yard car' to the top of the mountain! Then they can come down to the house for lunch!

Re: Farm, 2011

The 18' X 29' room with a 10' wide X 9' high door is now insulated, and 20
flourescent tubes are ready to 'BRIGHTEN' our future! That all happened tonite
after I got off work.
We are replacing the temporary door,(that has been there for 3 years) friday
evening.
Randy has 5 gallons of white latex to smear tomorrow. I want everything in the
room painted white. Walls, ceiling.... Oh yea, that's right. That is all that
is IN the room!
Saturday, we will be 'testing' the new exhaust set-up.
August of '06' I had that room built. It was used for storage for a year.
August of '07' I hauled everything needed to finish the interior to the site,
then had some health issues.
I tolld the guy that was supposed to be working there, that he could USE the
room if he finished it.
TODAY!!!! Randy and I were the FIRST people to work on that room since '07'.
I got off work at 3:30 today. I left that room at 9:00 pm tonite.
By saturday, the room will be FINISHED and ready to make MONEY! (4 years later!)
There is enough light that shadows are non-existant. There is enough room that
the FIRST vehicle shot there is going to be a 4X4, crew cab, 8' bed duelie! (and
I will NOT have to scrunch my butt against the wall to hit the low stuff!)
This room has been WASTED for 4 YEARS!!

ALL over now!!

In the white room, at the station, with no curtains...
Great!
I know of a Pearlie that could use some Black paint.

I'll probably finish the camo on the Suburban,
Datalog the SC Vette,
eat some bon-bons and watch Opal.

I'd say his farm is around twenty miles away or less.
