Using Silicone Line
So I have read that petrol will make silicone swell and the silicone will not last long...which is obviously not good.
Since I redid all my vacuum lines in silicone, including all the lines under the intake manifold, did I do something bad? Some of those lines are part of the fuel system, but how much fuel travels through them? Should I change them or do I not need to worry? I just put my intake manifold on, and got everything connected...  Any help here is much appreciated. Thanks guys.

I have heard the same thing about silicone lines but used some to repair a leaking fuel supply line on my truck and it's been fine for about a year now. I wouldn't worry about it if I was you.

wouldn't worry either. I put the silver silicone vacuum lines on my pearlie TEN YEARS AGO and no problems reported so far. Photo below at Lafayette Bought them from Dayle HERE .

lol, I still have the Kinetic Concepts silicone hose kit on my svx. Gotta be 10+ years old. Some of you old timers will remember them. I guess the petrol has been nice to them over the years.
