Re: European Transmission

Kia ora Alex,

If you wish to keep using the US type transmission you have fitted, you must remove the solenoid Harvey sent you and make the changes I have advised. Keep in touch.

Regards, Trevor.

Re: European Transmission

Alex if you are fitting a manual gearbox, you will have to arrange the speedo drive to work off the manual box.
Is the front speed sensor in the box like your old one, or like the US one, on the diff?

Harvey.

Re: European Transmission

Alex this thread should help you to get the speedo working, and the wiring connected.. It is for Euro cars.

Kia ora Alex,

God news, but sad news.

As a result of wrong advice, you have been been caused a great deal of unnecessary expense and work, as well as stress and strife. It is notable that no apology has been recorded.

Your English is getting better and better. You have been a good pupil.

Sincerely, Trevor.

hehe thanks for telling me that my English is going well
Yes it have been some trouble whit the transmission, But i get a Legacy verry cheap. And i must say i like to drive ''stick'' gear better then auto.

And i start saving up to a Impreza gearbox, i have been told this work better whit the Svx then a legacy transmission. But it cost little more here in Norway then in USA. So then is just to swap the tranny in the future.
