Re: What Are Some Good Chromes For The SVX? RIMS THREAD............

I took a pic of some chrome wheels on a Nissan Murano last week.
I have to pull it off my cell phone, so give me a little bit.
But they are nice.
Ok, here you go...

Guys, there is way too much rice in this thread already. How about some real wheels? rpf1's, a nice set of lmgt2's, maybe some MB Battles. Some really hideous suggesstions, in both form and function.

Well, to each their own. I've seen much worse on a SVX before.

Bone ass stock, with wrong direction mod done. I'm slowly buying things off ebay and waiting for winter break to come so I can pop a few things on.

The only thing that's bothered me is that I came from the whole 240sx drift/auto-x/track scene, and I'm seeing the same wheels that local ricers rock. Thankfully, there's aren't any body kits easily available for the car. It's just that it's a waste to ruin an otherwise fine car with a bad set of wheels. I want to post up some pics of what I'm talking about, but I'm afraid of one of the cars belonging to someone here, and starting bad blood over nothing.

OP, you can get the Murano rims in chrome if you want btw. Another thing you might like are the Z wheels from 2006-up, but from the Maxima (same style) since the offsets/sizes are different front and rear on the Z.

Re: What Are Some Good Chromes For The SVX? RIMS THREAD............

And toss wheelmax and sportmax out the window. Those wheels are garbage. Overweight and crack easily. I can see the temptation, they make a lot of knockoffs that look exactly like the real wheels (I think it was wheelmax that make the "F-1" rims, knockoffs of the fno1rc, that look almost 100% like them.) Rock some truck steelies if you just want to get rid of stockers. I have a set of diamond racing truck steelies i ran on my sr'd 240 during the winter (SVX as a daily has changed my life btw) that looked good.

All 4 were for $125, and they aren't going to crack anytime soon. I might mount them on the SVX and take pics one weekend for kicks.

If you like the look of black chrome on your ebony beauty, check out the black chrome factory alloy wheels and matching center caps that Dayle at planetsvx is offering.
