where to found strut mounts and other parts...

Well, looking around for front strut mounts and not having much luck. All the parts stores say they don't have a part number, and I call subaru and they say that it could take a while. Well, I'm not in a big hurry, but I just want to know what my options are!

Also, looking for ball joints for the front as well. Any ideas where to look for those? Is there any place online that has good prices for these things?

So, to re-cap. Where do I find strut mounts and ball joints? Thank you.

When it comes to strut mounts, ball joints and the like, your only real option is Subaru. (Remanufactured parts such as steering racks and alternators are available most anywhere.) Check out subaruparts.com or some other online Subaru outlet. If somebody told me it "could take awhile," I'd probably take my business elsewhere. But be mindful, very few SVX-specific parts are sitting on dealer shelves. If it's a non-aftermarket item it's liable to take several days to arrive, no matter where you buy.

I had been going to subaruparts.com but found 1stsubaruparts.com to be slightly cheaper. Both are much cheaper than my local dealership.
