Talking

Now that I'm running on sober, & finally sleeping 'til noon today, I'd like to extend a few "Thanks". 1. to John (SVXcommuter) for "just so happen to have" an upper radiator hose to replace mine that couldn't hold its water (Me & my SVX have a lot in common). 2. YT, who found the lever to allow me to open the trunk (boot) in a keyless fashion again. 3. Di (& that other Tom guy) for bringing the portable bar ensemble, as usual. 4. Mike621 for leading us to rally booby prize status. 5. To all the "old" timers (you know who you are) who keep showing up year after year. 6. Dave, John & all those involved in organizing our orgy every year. 7. Newcomer Rose, who kept us mentally alert at all times. 8. Exxon et al, whose 50 buck fill-ups will help us keep the mileage down on our aging babies.

....had a great time.

Ron.

The rally was a blast. I have dibs on COZYKAT as a navigator next year unless she brings her own SVX up from TX.

I am glad that my Boxer cover ended up in good hands and that the other raffle winners ended up with some pretty neat stuff. If it isn't installed by next year, maybe I'll raffle my SVX air purifier....maybe.

Looking forward to the stream of photos and vids,

hehe. Well if I manage to bring my SVX all the way from TX, then you can be my navigator! The rally was a blast - beautiful scenery, great company, and funny pictures!

Overall, I had such an awesome time and loved meeting everyone. John said I arrived to Reading innocent but by the end of the meet I was hopping into any SVX I could.

posting Reading pics soon....

If you make the next one a 3 day event, I just might have to drive out.
If I can make it to the Dragon in a 89 XT, I think I can make it to Reading in my 92 SVX

if you like booze and svxi then this is your party (drinking not required though)

Denise and I were talking and have determined that we will most likely get a room next year on sat night so we can be more of a social type of drinkers (not having to worry aobut being straight for the ride home)

I have owned a SVX for 3 years now and this was my first Reading. I'm hoping that next year I can stay all weekend rather than just Friday and Saturday. Aside from having a farmers tan and a V burn on my neck I had a lot of fun. Killer Tomato ended up getting about 28 MPG for my trip. So I'm very happy about that. It was great to meet most of you (there were a few that I didn't meet) and it was great seeing those of you that I already know.

Thanks to all who made this possible.

Yeah, I came back to the dorm at college and my room mate ran to the store as soon as she saw me :P
Miss you guys already! I think I'm going to want to go back next year... It was most fun seeing the mods and wheels on all of them. I don't know much about modifying cars, but everyone had a lot of fun stories, it was mucho captivating.

Since it appeared that Yuengling Beer was the "official" beer of Reading, maybe we can offer this SVX shift knob next year in the raffle.

Ya but the after party was brought to you by...

I am still smiling after this great meet. It was the best one ever! It has to be experienced to really know what it is. Just hearing about it - well, it isn't the same.
