Need help with Reading parts....

I am no longer going to be able to make it to Reading it looks like. I need however to get 2 doors to crazy pilot... Is there anyone from the tri state area going down that is willing to help out with this. If not I may try to meet up with Crazy Pilot before he gets to Readin, when he is closer to my house. Anyone that is in the MA, NH, VT, ME, NY, CT area and is planning on going please let me know.....

yeah.... I am really, really bummed, but senior year projects and stuff have preeminence over Reading..

Well I now know they aren't going to fit in an SVX.. unless you remove all of the interior first.. last weekend we fought with trying to get one door inside an SVX after removing the passenger seat.. we lost.. needed an SUV to rescue us...

Good luck with School.. I should follow suit and work on my Master's Project along with the several projects and papers I have to do... but... well, it's just not gonna happen.

*sigh* This is turning out to be stupidly complicated.

As a last resort I can drive to Bobby's place on the way home. It adds 4 hours to the trip (total 13 hours according to Google). If it's reasonably easy for someone to bring them out to the meet than that's awesome, and I'll buy you a tank of gas to make it up to you (plus a couple beers, etc), but don't break you back over it. Driving to Mass will probably cost me a tank of gas, so money's the same either way.

well if you are going up through the Albany area (or however you go back) I can def meet you there. It will save you going out of your way and Albany is only about 2.5 hours away from me....

What meet? For a tank of gas and a beer, I'll bring em & meet you somewhere! - not in Reading though, I can't make it this year, I'm moving to Florida during Reading time. Perhaps the AWD shop? I'm not sure where that is, but I think in NJ, so it's kind of out of the way.

Albany is actually pretty close to the route I'm going (I-81), and adds less than 2 hours to the trip, so if it comes down to it that's a good option.

when will you be going through albany? Let me know on both directions and I will see which one works.


P.S. Do not lock your doors until you swap the cylinders..... Dont want to see you get locked out of your car at some rest stop and have to break a window to get in... LOL

I'd thought of that. I'm going to get a full lock set, mine are mismatched anyway.

I'd rather come through on the way home. I'm meeting up with a couple people on the way there and going straight down I-81 to Scranton.

It depends what time I pull out from the meet. What time would you like me to get to Albony by? It looks to be about a 4.5 hour trip, so if I hit the road around noon that should put me there before 5 PM and leave us time to bolt the doors on. Does that work? I can try to stagger out of the hotel earlier if you'd like.
