WOW, thats like half price performance. My original goal for the SVX was go with a GT35R for the same reasons, which is easily twice the price. Not too shabby... I'd be buying one too if I didn't need to find a new tranny...

That sucker is going to take FOREVER to spool, even with the flat six and 3.3L of displacement...

But, boy will it be sexy when it IS spooled...

Can you say "Ludicrous speed... GO!!!"?

Ya, This turbo is sized properly for mid to high RPM power, its really not that large, everyone is just used to seeing 1.6-2.5L 4 cylinder rigs. The 60-1 is for all intensive purposes a Low pressure wheel, much like the T04B, but has a bit more capacity. The compressor housing/wheel on the T04S 60-1 is perfect, 75% eff for a majority of the rev range, never dropping below 60%. For the hot side, I kept the stage 3 wheel on the .82 a/r housing to keep pressure up while not crowding things. I do not anticipate having to drop down to a .63 housing, but I already will have one from the old turbo if I need to.

Ya, Peakboost(cheapturbos.com) is the best, i will plug them any day. You do not have to pay exorbinant prices and you do not have to worry about what you are actually getting, its the real deal. They do not sell chinese crap. They are also have amazing customer service. They called me prior to shipping my order to talk over my system and agreed that the configurations I chose should be a good match.

Should be some good power. In addition to the new turbo, I will be dropping down to .4 Bar, and will be switching the MAF to blow-through, locating it in the boost tube directly before the plenum adapter.

Good luck, lets hope that motor will support all its abilities. Also be careful on the blow-through, they tend to leak because of the MAF adaptors, so make sure you get a good seal on that sucker... Let it rip man

I should be ok on 5.8lbs of boost, but who knows. To be honest this will be a cooler charge with the much higher efficiency, so it should be easier on the engine. This motor has been a trooper so far so cannot blame it when it does give up. I dont think it will though

What are the advantages of going MAF post-turbo instead of pre-turbo? What is making you switch, anyway?
