<<youhave enough room it would be silly not to do front mount.>>

yeah, the only thing i'm worried about is using just the stock STi turbo. i think i'm gonna get some turbo lag.

good thing you posted that from the side that TMIC will cause you problems the first time you drive it anyway....

moving the rad solves a few more issues too, you'll be able to get shorter rad hoses, maybe stock, check it out.

The AC cond. goes to nothing as it is anyway... no harm in moving it. FMIC all the way!

Why do you need to move the radiator? Their is no need. Just get your plasma/torch out and go to work. With an afternoon I had my IC tucked nicely in the bumper, and I have room for a much larger one if necessary. If your going to think outside the box, make sure you are not overlooking solutions just because they are not radical. I think it would be a lot more work for you to move the radiator etc then to just remove and trim the bumper and bumper cover.

Holy Cow! You have tons of room up front. FMIC all the way. I was thinking you had little to no room.

Fmic!

I had a small fmic for a while.
Can you afford a water to air?
You do have tons of space now!

i'm getting some rad supports welded up this week so i can pull the rad closer to the engine. i cant find hoses that are that length for the stock location. plus, it will leave me more room up front.

If he wants a water to air unit, I have one in my garage. Brand new and never used. Was going to use it on my XT6. Keeping the 6s NA for now.

Wow. The weight distn of the car should improve with that swap. The turbo 2.5L is probably not much lighter than the n/a EG33, but all of the engine weight sits back closer to the center of the car.
