I've had some ATX power supply plugs have a pin or two come partially out too.. Just throwin ideas out there for ya.. If your feeling really brave you could always try loading Linux. It's no good if your a gamer, but for surfing, media playback and office apps it works pretty good, it even works with ipods, and its free.. I've been running Kubuntu linux for a few months now, and like it enough to get rid of windows completely. You can download it as an iso, burn it to cd, and boot from the cd to a semi working desktop to test it, all without installing.
You want a list huh? lol O.k. Yes I had to use an adapter of the Processors power, because it can use 4 pin but the 4 pin on my Powersupply was well backwords lol . As far as Linux, I would, I'd love to, but I am a gamer. Until windows stops dominating the market, I am stuck with it.

LOL nice! I didn't have much luck searching for that error with your board.. One thing I did run across is setting the FSB lower, basicly underclocking the processor. If that helps I'd suspect the processor. I know AMD's are really sensitive to heat, any power to them without a heat sink/thermal compound and they go up in smoke..(don't ask..) Did you ever update the bios, or reset/select factory defaults? Any chance you can get ahold of a different copy of windows? You seem like you know what your doing, I'm just rambling off ideas now, hoping one might help..

Um, I am going to attempt a BIOS flash again, reinstall windows (Wiping the hard drive and reinstall). Like I said I do not think it is the Hard Drive, as I did WD tools to test for errors. I am 90% sure its the motherboard in some sort. Good news is I have a year replacement form newegg on it if it needs to be RMA. I am going to have Foxconn call me tomorrow and maybe (if the BIOS Flash, reinstall doesn't work) they can help. I want to have BIO flashed before I call them in case they tell me too I can already have it done.

TESTED:
Hard Drive using Western Digitals Tools, Also used another Hard drive getting the same error as before.
Memory passed the memory test.

Errors:
Motherboard hangs sometimes on loading ACIP
Soon as It trys to load windows I get 0x7e error / BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_FILE

By the way like the setup?

If I were you (and have been in the same spot before) I would go to some place like FRYs or best buy and buy a new mother board for testing purposes. It is a quick and easy way to determine what hardware is at fault and if you don't destroy anything you can just return what you bought the next day for a refund. I use the excuse of finding a better deal somewhere else when they ask why I am returning the product. I was given this idea by a guy from the tech support of the company who made my bad board. He said that it was quicker than trying to RMA the thing, which it was.

I like your thinking! I might do that, I still going to have to contact Foxconn.

If the computer is getting this far, and the result is consistent, and you've tried swapping hardware around with the same results, it really smells like a software issue.

Likely, your registry got corrupt, which can happen sometimes during an abrupt shutdown while writing to the registry. Or, perhaps, a bad Win32k.sys file.

Have you tried booting in safe mode?

Thanks for the help but I can not even get to that point. I tried. As soon as it goes to start loading Windows off the HD it gives me the blue screen. I have gotten the same message on a different HD. I tested memory no avail. It has to be the motherboard or Processor. but I doubt its the Processor. Foxconn has not called me yet so IDK whats up.

If you make through the BIOS booting, then you should be able to load windows.

Thats what I am confused about. But I am going to have to RMA the motherboard. I believe the problem lies with in that and possible one of the components on it going bad. I have tested everything ; ;.I switched hard drives. I flashed Bios, and I tested memory. If Foxconn ever contacts me -.- I guess I'll go to Newegg next. It sucks my computer was awesome. Well I am RMA the motherboard I"ll boots my power supply. I have wiped the Hard drive and reinstalled windows. If RMA don't work i will just blow it up I guess. or Part it out lol.

Double check BIOS is my vote.

I"ve gotten pretty used to having to fix these kinds of situations with my system. I also keep fighting the upgrade itch. I built my system in 03 and other than adding like 138mb or SDram I haven't changed a thing. The last time i spent 3 days pulling my hair out trying to get it to work. Finally before reconfiguring the whole thing I checked the one thing I put off cause it was "too simple to be the problem." Went into BIOS and found the bios reset the settings on what HD it was reading. So it wasn't reading anything hooked up or not. I'd try this or bring it to someone that can diagnos it. If they don't have an answer or the answer is it's time to start up the microwave you'll save a lot of time. If you aren't familar with working on the Bios(you said you built it so even vaugely familar you can pull out the boards book and figure it out)or you can't and picking up a book on BIOS would be helpfull. Most Blue screen errors are Bios related or a loose connection. Good luck

Well, I have go in and disconnected everything, Flashed the BIOS and even ran all diagnostic tools I could find that were reliable. I think if I have to RMA it I will also upgrade power supply. I am pulling my hair out as something I spend much time and money in should work.

Also my Sub woofer and Amp I ordered got sent back and am waiting for a call from Circuit City from their Faud Center because Fedex screwed up the delivery.

Bsod

Hi,
Just some thoughts. My machine has been running for almost three years now since I built it, and it's pretty reliable. But... I bought all the parts from Fry's, which was good, because there were a lot of exchanges at first. When it first came up, there were intermittent BSOD errors, turned out one of the two hard drives was bad, and of course it was the one that ran my "C" partition. (I have two 160GB SATA drives, with 5 partitions.) Then a few days after that, another BSOD. This time it was the PS in the Antec case. Put in a larger one, and was OK for another few days, then problems again. Finally pulled out the Mob, and replaced it, and that configuration has held up for more than two years. I just maxed out the RAM to 3GB, and I am running an Athlon 64 at 2.8Ghz. Anyway, the Mob was the final culprit.
Just ruminating.
Paul

You kind of confirmed what I suspect is the problem. I will be replacing the Power Supply and most likely RMA the motherboard. If that does not solve it , well I will have something fun to run over with an Explorer.
