Pull the crank sprocket off, carefully, and pull the key out with vicegrips.

I'm guessing I have to loosen the timing belt too?

I would remove it completely.

Finally after alot of cursing and lubing i got the sprocket off after 3 hours. I tapped out the two holes to 8mm x1.25 all the way through. Then i fashioned up a 3/8" piece of steel with two holes in it to help pull the sprocket off. I put the plate on and it took about 2hours and a whole #%*! load of lube to get it to come off. Now I gotta clean everything up and get the new woodruf key in. How do I get it to stay in while i put the sprocket back on. Also should i put some type of epoxy or glue the keep the key in once the sprocket is back on?

Now that you can see the whole keyway, how does the new key fit?

It fits in there pretty snug. There is about a 1/16" part that bent from the old key. I can't get picutres because I gotta go to work but I'll have some later. I'm ashamed of myself too now because there's spiders making home in my engine bay. That means I gotta get it running again so I can drive it

finally put everything back together and its running again. The key fit in the keyway snugly and the sprocket went on perfect. It took a little while for me to get the timing belt to stay on while i tightened everything up but i got it on. The new lightweight pulley went on perfect and it was snug on the crankshaft. Put the alt/ps/ac belts back on and started it up. The first start up it stayed around 1200rpms for about 30seconds. Then i shut it off because one idler pulley i put the washer on backwards so it wasn't spinning freely I fixed that then let it run for about 10mins and it stayed at a constant 7--800rpms which was good. Took it for a drive to make sure everything was still working and it was

EDIT - Forgot to add now when I start it up or crank the wheel almost locked it doesn't squeal like a dieing cat.
