Question is this possible?

So I am putting a system in my SVX and after I get done running the interconnects I plug them into the amp and start to hook-up the remote wire. I find myself saying WTF? I look back over and see arrows on the jacket of the audio cables and they are pointing in the wrong direction. So, the question is can it really be possible to hook a rca cable up backwards? Seriousley, its just some shielded small guage wire, isn't it?
Anyone out there know any reason I should rip it all back out just to make the arrows point front to rear (source to amp)? Is there such a thing as directional copper?

You're 99% done and instead of just hitting the ON button, you run inside to ask us? I think yourconfused.
Certain diodes control the direction of current flow, but as far as I know they aren't used with rca wires.

It is likely that the cable could incorporate series and parallel resistors as means of impedance adjustment. This could be confirmed with an ohm meter. This method is sometimes used when matching up units which are not exactly compatible.

The direction of the arrows is pointing the way the signal flow should go. So the arrows should be pointing from the receiver to the amp. The reason they have the arrows is because the grounding wire on the end is connected to the neg. wire on that end of the wire to drain off interference. If you hook them up the wrong way its not a huge deal but you may notice more interference.

Yeah I couldn't think of a reason they wouldn't work in reverse, but if i'm going to the trouble of tearing the car apart I had just better do it the rite way when it goes together. I wasn't having any luck with stingers website last night, but today the page came up. It says something about the windings being wraped a paticular way making them direction specific noise shielding twisted pair blah blah blah. Well I hope to get it up and running as soon as I figure where to mount the sub amp. Anybody have external amps in their cars? Where have you mounted them. I have one on the seatback so far.
thanks.

I just have one sub and to make it easier to remove, i have the Cap and Amp on the box itself.
