Today turned out to be a good day, until I get my mail. My wife had a car accident last year(2-21-2006) and car insurance said they would cover everything under my policy. Well today I receive a bill for over 3k. Im like WTF?!?!? I have not received ANY bill about this until today. Also this hospital has one of those great payment schedules THEY draw up. Insurance had better fix this one

Computer hacking is looking better everyday A coworkers wife works at the same hospital and has a pancreatic disease and they received a bill for over 75k, and anything over $2001.00 is a 5% MINIMUM MONTHLY PAYMENT-roughly 3800 a month, because they require you to pay the bill in full in one year or you will be sent to collections for non payment What the hell is wrong with this picture. I see why the U.S. is the richest country in the world.........because they financially rape the working class

that's just ****ing stupid. seems like they want money and obviously as fast as they can get it off you before they send someone out to beat the **** out of you. at least have something more decent - maybe the same idea as a loan...sick people wouldn't have that kind of money to pay out

Well after doing some research last night I found out that my health insurance was also billed because when my wife was admitted they asked for proof of MEDICAL insurance even though my CAR insurance should be footing the bill. I appear to have been billed TWICE for the same services Seems odd that here it is a year later and this is the first bill I have received. Also my insurance through work is only a 100$ copay for ANY emergency room visit. The bulls&*t continues

I recently received a signiifcant bill from the hospital that my medical insurance should have covered. This was almost a year after my son's medical treatment. Went to the hospital's billing office and it turned out the bill was in error and they actually had double dipped on other charges. Received a $2K+ refund. Never pay without statements from everyone involved. And deal with real people if possible.

It looks like a billing error due to insufficient info How much do they need-hell she had a car accident?! My health insurance said there is a 90 day appeal period and here it is a year later Insurance today(health) told me I was not responsible for any amount. It pisses me off to think they (hospital) can send me a bill and expect payment in full within 1 year-after they waited 1 YEAR THEMSELVES TO FILE THE CLAIM . Hopefully this is resolved

Insurance is sending a letter to the hospital saying to disregard the bill to me.
The woman I talked to at my healthcare was VERY helpful in getting to a solution She told me this is COMMON for this to happen. WTF
