Tons of green grass here all year and all good builders always face homes north. Lawn mowing is good business but a chore.

hahahaha, the Taurus can actually out-donut either of the Foresters, sometimes. The Forester can do donuts around one front wheel, but the Taurus can do reverse donuts with both back wheels moving in opposite directions.

Actually, we just got a fair bit of freezing rain.....hmmmm...

Yeah! Westland is definitely old school .

I'm over here near 20th and Simms so it's not too far.

Just got back home a few minutes ago. The side roads... man they suck. I'm glad I listened to my wife and drove the WRX (it has more clearance...barely). I'm thinking that maybe I parted my rock crawler out too soon. I can't tell you how many times I grounded my front air dam earlier this evening.

All I can say is that I hope you guys in regions (Canada etc.) that get hella snow have better road maintenance than we do... and we're supposed to be prepared for this kind of stuff.

The up shot however is here in Denver two weeks from now it could be 60 degrees again. In fact last year on the 31st I was fly fishing on Bear Creek. The air temperature was 59 degrees , unfortunately the water temp was a brisk 37 . I still managed to catch twenty or so (doubt that will be happening this year though).

Our snow has already been pummeled by the city.

Any pictures? 30"?

The most I have seen here is about 10" more. And, unbelievably, it's in December now and we're at about 50F in the day times. We only had one snow day with only 1-2" so far

But I did verify that my AWD is working, because I can watch the back tires spin as I hit the gas .The front tires arent moving at all though, so I am stuck until the plows ome to rescue me.

Just thought Id complain alittle, and im bored out of my mind. Other colorado people need to jump in and complain alittle too!
That was some crazy snow you all got. Guess you got a white christmas.
I have a question though. What kind of tires do you have on your SVX???
When I was in Arizona it snowed so bad they closed I-17 to traffic once, so I drove over this mountain forest road to get home. The snow was up too the hood, I only got hung up once when this big stupid redneck truck was coming over the road. But I still got it moving again(thank god).
I always buy Yokohoma's. Studded one's if I'm in snow country.

I just checked we got 30'' for the week.

I almost got stuck the other day, btu going back and forth slowly and turning the wheel got me out without help. Blizzaks ftw.

Ha, i got stuck for the first time 2 days ago, tapped a bit of snow in a little alley and it torqued me to get the car perpendicular to the road, buddies had to push on both sides to get it to spin back.
On the way back home i pulled a truck out of the ditch so i think im even.

Here's a crappy phone pic of the Talon in the snowstorm last week:

That's probably about 10" of the 20"+ we picked up. We're supposed to get another 12" or so this afternoon!

Roflmao!

Not in CO but we got 18" {City wide we averaged 15, but our area was actually eighteen, I was determined to take a tape measure outside to find out :P } a while back... over a month now, and it's in Dec.-Nov. time frame and it's freakin' 60 out!

Oh well....... I want some snow back.... I love cold weather, the only thing I hated 'bout that would be the fact.... Come Rain, sleet, snow, hail, blizzard, hurricane, torandos, dark of night, ect..... Domino's will be open EVERYONE ELSE WAS CLOSED!

Mom and dad just HAD to have AWD vehicles .......>.<

Oh well, we got there.... kinda...... Dad got stuck trying to get how.... "It's AWD, It has 6" clearance, I can make it" yeah..... riiiiiiiiiiiiight.........
