I think you might want to review this plan.

In fact stage2v7 will actually be freeish for stage 2v6 owners. Send us your 2v6 roms and paypal us $20 shipping and hassle money and we'll send you 2v7.
I'm trying to figure out what my car will be running on while I await the 2v7 shipping round-trip.

I realize that but unfortunately everytime I ship people stuff trusting they will ship me something in return there are always those who fail to ship the return. The turn around time is just something people will have to live with if they want free software.

Is there much difference witht he v7 normal software over the v6? I don't ever plan on running flex fuel or nitrous. I just want to squeeze what I can out of my NA EG33. Any chance you could possibly do a custom map on the second position for say an AutoX/ large injector setup?

I believe I was one of the trustworthy ones who sent back the v5 chip. Can't remember for sure, but I think I did. I know I didn't send back the Stage 1 chip. Had several versions of that. It all runs together.

I've gotten in some test time on the prototypes of stage 1v5. It looks like the aggressive timing code in the default location does in fact perform well with regular unleaded as well.

Thanks,

Hey do you mods talk to Chris much? He was big time interested in racing with E85 and I don't remember if he even has e85 software. Is he racing this season?

I'm all for 2 versions of stage 2V7. Will the 2nd set of codes work well on my own supercharger application with say....14 lbs. boost or do I need you to custom me up a chip when the day comes? I think you should produce a stage 1 code that makes use of 93 octane or up ONLY. You know.. for us guys here on the eastcoast(where most of the svxi are) that run nothing but 93 or up. I figure you can push the envelope a little on the tables for us that want max power and can live with a little lower gas mileage(auto xer's, Drag racers). I'm getting 21 MPG average on 1V4, So I could stand to lose 1 or 2 MPG in the name of more power. Is there any good to be had for us auto guys between 1V4 and 1V5?? If so, How much to upgrade?

you would run the 1st version of the stage 2 code unless you had stage2v7f and were going to run e85. You will probably not have much success running 14 lbs on the stock engine no matter what engine management you had. The stage 2 software will handle the engine management for comfortably over 400 hp but there are other things you need to do the engine to get to those power levels on gasoline.

Yeah, I was also planning on injectors and dual exhaust and so on to cope with the boost. I have no interest in the E85 code. How about my stage 1 questions?

Mr. LAN,
Do you see any potential ill effects if one was to run the E85 software with higher octane fuel that is not ethanol? This may be what Mr. BudFreak is asking.
Thank you.

In post #24 of this thread, LAN mentions 2 different 2V7's, one of them with the timing reduced for nitrous use instead of the E85 tuning. I was asking if I could use that reduced timing to run my supercharger.

The other question was if he could make a 1V5 with a more aggressive fuel and timing curve for us people that never use less than 93 octane. I figure if the engine can still run on regular with what he is working with right now on the prototype 1V5, Then it must still have room for more aggressive tuning so that it requires 93 octane or above. I want an ultimate power chip basically that sacrifices some MPG for some HP.
