Oh, and whenever I go into PWR mode, afterwards when I open the hood, the dipstick is popped up and isnt held in - is this really bad? I was gonna hold it on with a clip

My dipstick used to pop up to so I replaced my PCV thinking might be causing it, but it did not help. Finally I looked at the o-ring on the dipstick. It was old and very hard so I replaced it and haven't had the problem yet. It was a very cheap fix. Hope it works for you.

O-ring, 29 cents... thanks!

One of the things that I need right away is new tires, I'm down to almost no tread and the northeast is due for snow any day now. (Yes, I've searched + read about tires here) Can anyone give me *their* opinion - Kumho Ecsta's AST's... ASX's or Sumitomo HTR-Z's -

Basically looking at sub-$65 all-season/summer tires. Just fielding opinions from everyone.

-thanks!

Dont think too hard on it, I was going to buy the khumo tires you speak of...Instead I had to do an engine swap, power steering pump, ect. I put it off too long, and my tires baldness got me nowhere but against a tree

It's not worth driving all season tires here in PA. I drive on Kumho during the drivable seasons and drive on Bridgestone snow tires in the winter. I have both sets on different rims, so switching them over is easy.

Yeah, figure any tires would be better than bald tires, especially with winter coming in..

I only have $500 left for repairs - which would be the more vital one to take care of; the rear wheel bearings (the rear makes a whooomp whooomp whooomp sound around corners) or the leaking cam seals?
The bills for this car are already adding up - anyone wanna buy an SVX?

Alrite.

Another question :
the grille piece (non-waterfall) on the 96-97 models is the same as the European Domestic Market grille from 92-97?

Sorry about the inbox... I prefer that customers supply their own parts simply because if they decide to go elsewhere, I am not stuck with their bill for parts... Call me at (609)276-7279 and we can set it up. I have a week left of school as well so after that I will have a lot of time to work with
