STi seats in SVX?

I need to get some new seat. My old ones dodn't lock in some time. WAs think if the STi seat would fit in the SVX. WAs think of the black ones

anyway, i know of someone transplanting sti seats into a 2nd gen legacy turbo. 94 i think. it would stand to reason that they would fit our cars, but unless you already have access to a set of sti's i think it would be a bit pricy. personaly, i like the idea and would consider it myself if it wasn;t so costly. look into some sparco racing seats if you like the look.

as for your seat not locking, if its the sliding action your refering to, check to see if there is change stuck in the track. i had 3.75 in my passenger track.

i've been contiplating doing this for some time now. I'm just waiting for a time with enough extra $ sitting around to go do it.

I was thinking about doing it about 2 years ago. Had a hard time letting the cash go though... Now that they are cheap enough I want even newer STI seats

Well, I became obsessed with finding a tighter seat. After taking an R32 through a test course I had to have a seat that I "put on". After some test sitting I figured some STi seats would be somewhat more sporty but still great for driving extended trips. So that was my "why"!

I do like the SVX seats, sometimes I wonder if it is in my head

but there is a way to find out...

I want to do it strictly for the custom look... Its either going to be Black/Grey Sparcos or STi Seats. The added support will be nice as well.

I never understood changing the front seats for "the look", since the back ones are going to stay stock. 3 stock seats look much better IMO than 2 racing seats and a stock seat.

I agree, thats why I was going to try the full STi Set ad see if I could make the rear seat fit (prob not but could alway re-sell it).
