Interior Light Bulb

I have a 92 ex Japan with no sun roof and an interior light with a spot light on either side. The bulb requires replacing and I have examined the set up and done some tentative prising but do not wish to damage anything. I have a Japanese owners manual but this gives no illustrated clues and I am unable to decypher Japanese !
It would appear that prising out the spot bezels and removing the the switch buttons may uncover fastening screws. Advice from someone who has sussed out the secret fastenings would be greatly appreciated.
Trevor.

I assume you have the L model in the US. I can take pic and setup another howto on this. Can you wait a day or two?

Interior Light Bulb

Thanks Lwin for the reply and Oh so quickly.
Please don"t go to the sort of trouble you have so kindly offered and there is no real hurry. I don't require great detail as I have plenty of experience with cars, but don't want to break off some silly little plastic clip or whatever by forcing things that are invisible. Some brief tips should suffice.
Thanks again, Trevor.

If the light unit is the same as it is here in the US, you will see a slot in the plastic aroung the spot lights. Pry carefully to remove. After removing both, the spot light bulbs and unit mounting nuts are visable. To remove the entire unit, remove the two nuts. That's it.

What he has is the VE - its similar to what the "LS" is here. the VE has purpleish-grey ecsaine trimmed interior. The sunroof was a rare option on any model in japan.

Interior Light Bulb

Thanks a lot Guys,
I had seen the slots described but was not sure if removing the spot light bezels would uncover any fastenings.
You are correct in your assumptions regarding the model I have.
Cheers for now, Trevor.
