MPG with your SVX

With gas being what it is right now, I was wondering how many miles per gallon everyone was getting with their svx?

I get around 25 MPG when I drive on the highway with the cruse on.
Most of the time I'm only going 8 miles to work and back. Foot to the floor most of the time. So I get less then 15 MPG.

City is about 20-22MPG, highway is about 25-27MPG, with a best of 32MPG on one tank. It really depends how fast you drive, ive had my gas milage veary from below 10MPG up to 32MPG.

I 've jumped from 18ish to 23 ish by actually going somewhere in the neighborhood of the sp3edlimit. and now have an o2 sensor/knock sensor check enginelight.

415 miles on a tank with a 16 gallon fill up............going 85....90....95...115... oppppps lets say not the speedlimit,it was a 600+ mile trip.
around town driving it gets 300-320 on a tank, and being that 91 oct is going for 320+ around here in San Diego I have to be carefull on my driving habits

A full tank only gets me like 200-220 miles. So I'm guessing less than 15mpg.

Gas just went up to CAN$1.189/L for regular, so I'll be filling up at CAN$1.289/L (or USD$1.09/L - so I pay USD$4.13/Gallon)

That's crazy, SVXfiles! Any tips on getting this my fuel-pig SVX to ease up on my gas usage (and wallet)?

I don't want to rip things out to make it lighter, and I won't drive it slower. What I want to know is, can I clean something, replace something, add something, etc to make my car more fuel efficient? With gas prices going nuts on me, I won't be able pay for fuel unless I can drag a few more mpgs out of her.

Averaged about 28mpg on the 1200 mile trip from San Antonio to Chicago. I've gotten around 20ish around town if I can keep off the accelerator .

I avg about 10km/litre or about 23.5 mpg.
Highway driving, when I cruise at about 65-75mph I tend to get around 12km/litre or 28 mpg.
Hubby driving, he avg sometimes only 7-8 km/litre or about 16.5-18.8 mpg.

But we always fill up with 98 octane so I guess that makes the difference.

In case I've made a boo-boo (you know how we blondes can be )
I'm using 1 US Gallon = 3.7854 litres, and 1 mile = 1.6km for the conversion.
