WRONG PART#, AXXIS brakes

Hi all,

I have a question for those who purchased AXXIS metal master
brake pads!

I recently bought them with partnumber 108 03330, recommended by BrakeWarehouse. On the box, it said it replaces
23-333-01.

Now I took them to midas and replace the front pads, and they told me the brake pads would not fit. They look totall different than the oem ones and are a lot smaller.

In the end, I bought a set of Metal Master Pads off of midas for a slight premium,(the part# 23-333-01) which were much larger (the box itself was two times larger)

So I am just wondering if Brakewarehouse sent me the wrong pads in the right box(unlikely) or has AXXIS mislabeledand created a replacement set of brake pads that are non compatible with SVXes?(likely?)

Right now Im stuck witha set of pads that wont fit my car.

Are you sure they weren't the pads for the rear? They are smaller than the front pads.

Yeah, thats what I thought, that they sent me the rear instead of the front. The midas mechanic pointed out to me that they were not the same shape though, and these pn#08-03330 brakes have some sort of (clotheshanger type) butterfly metallic springs to hold it on some sort of vehicle?

Maybe the sent me the rear brake box, with totally wrong pads?

Slightly confused and wondering what I should say to the guys I bought the brakes from.

Truth works - just tell them that someone gave you the wrong number and you were stuck for the right parts. If they hope to ever do more business with you they'll give your money back. It shouldn't be a problem.
