I think this is thread is dead. There were only 3 responses to the last question. The answer to question #5 was 5.0L or roughly 305.3ci. The bonus question was Chrysler used a 340 Block, but used a shorter stroke to get it down to 304ci, slightly larger then the 302ci used by Chevy and ford. I believe AMC's entry was 303ci in race trim.

Standings:
Sidewinder - 12 points
Jnthn Sctt - 10 points
earthworm - 9 points
Ron Mummert - 7 points
matthewmongan - 7 points
subafreak - 2 points
upnygimp - 2 points
MpSVX - 1 point
all others - 0 points

I'm not sure there will be a question #6. Let me know if you are intrested in continuing.

Seems like there was a common misconception in the last question. It said what company made the engine for THE McLaren F1, not the McLaren F1 program. Big difference. The correct answer is BMW, there were some Mercedes-Benz guesses. Standings so far:

Sidewinder - 13
Jnthn Sctt - 10
Ron Mummert - 10
matthewmongan - 10
Earthworm - 9
upnygimp - 2
Subafreak - 2
MpSVX - 1

Question #8:

Which domestic automaker had a model called the St. Regis? Hint; it was a popular police car in the late 70's. (2 points) PM's by Monday at 9pm Eastern.

Jnthn Sctt - 12
Ron Mummert - 12
matthewmongan - 12
Earthworm - 11
Subafreak - 2
upnygimp - 2
MpSVX - 1

Question #8:

What was the name of the first exotic, mid engine, V-12, that was available for general consumer purchase? (3 points) {it's obviously Italian, but which one? ) PM's by Sunday at 9pm Eastern.
