new job!
Well, after eight years at the same place I've seen the writing on the wall and decided to be the swimming rat and abandon the sinking ship.
I start my new job on 5/23 and I have to tell you all....... I simply can't wait! It cannot possibly get here soon enough. I'll even forgo the week off I'm taking in between if it means that I can get the hell out of Dodge. Seriously, it's a great opportunity and I'm very very excited!!!

Looks like I'll be making a switch soon to another company in town. I've known the President & CEO for over two years and it finally looks like the right time for me to come on board with her as a Senior Acct Manager/ Executive Recruiter.

So it appears that my release date will be a week earlier than I suspected.
Appears that the current company is going under. Oh well! Vacation for me!

Thanks all! This is a good thing. And one of the really good things about it is that I'm going to be working with at least five of my original co-workers. Since I got released from the old job early, I'll probably get to start the new job early too. Get a week off to take care of some stuff, then hit it hard.
My phone has rung more today than it has in quite some time.... folks wanting to know what's going on. I'm happy!
