yeah that's him. SteveD .

I think he used to work for some racing team.

I was looking through his before and after shots. I wouldn't have taken the car for free after looking at the original images. After all the restoration work Steve did, the car looked spectacular. Flat black perfect exterior. Very nice. Very exotic.

Back many years ago a friend of mine had one of those, and it didn't run very well, but another friend was familiar with VW engins and liked to hump her so he kept it running like a top
