Mazda6 is an awesome car to begin with. A tweaked version should be really nice.

Nice car! Drove one in the '03 Mazda Rev it up competition. Really sweet handler at the limit with some moderate understeer. Not bad for a 4 door sedan...

-Chike

P.S. For the money of a new MazdaSpeed6, I'd rather buy a slightly used 6spd Mazda RX-8... They can be had for ~21-24K!!!

Too expensive for what you get! I really like it and so does Mandi. We went to test drive one, and she was really excited about it, until she saw the price. Fully loaded, it's in the same league pricewise as a pretty well-equipped Grand Prix.

The 6 is at the least a very pretty car. I can't say I know anything else about it, though...

...the Proteges make great autocross cars, but I have yet to see a 6. Admittedly our group is small. Net year I hope to try some other local events around the state, so I expect I'll see a bigger variety than the repeat customers and infrequent visitors.

Sweet!

I've liked the 6 since it came out, and I've been praying that they would come out with a MazdaSpeed version. I'm glad they gave it AWD.

i will have to drive one when its time to buy a new car. looks good, nice power, handling is excellent i'm sure but.........3500+Lbs? 0-60 in the low 6's.

i'll still try it out, though, but i was looking for light and nimble this time.

There was a 6 at the SCCA Level 1 autocross class I took and it pulled some very good times in what appeared to be totally stock condition. No significant body roll (unlike a Saturn that, while pulling really, really good times, always looked like it was going to roll over).

Look pretty.

Good hp, good handling with the 6spd AWD...quite interesting.

Never really test drove that one...only tried the 6 cylinders w/ 5spd. Pretty good handling.
