AWD Burnout???
Is it possible to break the tires loose with an automatic. I never heard a peep out of my tires, Is my baby SLOW

The only way I know of to get all 4 tires to spin is in the gravel or sand and that is not easy.

How much do you value your transmission??? cause.. theres a very very bad thing you could do that i believe gets such results as Mike has a picture of in his locker....

I thought it was normal to not break traction, I was reading this thread and it seemed odd. http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...ight=the+trick Is it possible to make enough power "NA power" to chirp tires?

We can chirp them on the SV-Rex on dry pavement, either from a dead stop or in a hard corner N/A without doing the bad tranny thing. We cannot do a burnout.
We got a little wild on a large dirt site recently. We spun every way imaginable, plus quite a few unimaginable ways!  Put it this way- we took videos, and have the tires squealing on dirt.

My rears rarely spin, even on ice. They are designed to make traction, which is why my X moves forward when I burn the front tires up instead of sitting there.
It is also why my dif may be going bad. Try not to do it.

I think you might have a problem with one of your solenoids the only svx I ever saw do a burnout is a fwd or mine when the awd was shot. You should have that checked defore the trans gets damaged, it might be just a small problem now.

there are only a few ways i can get mne goin. When I had my old tires, they were gettingvery bald, i could jump and get a small chirp. Now since I got my new tires, i can get them spining on the highway when i jump on it, i guess because they are wide....

the only way I get a chirp is a quick half throttle acceleration from a stop........WHILE TURNING
 ...boo I'd love to be able to chirp them going straight. I think it's happened once and I was like, "woah, sweeeeeeet"

Agreed. It would be pretty hard to spin all four on pavement unless you're spraying a shot of NOS or have some serious power from a turbo or S/C...
