Tire questions

I have one bad tire, and one with a nail. All tires are not that old but apparently bridgestone has stopped making the model. I am going to sell the car in a few months and probably never needed a z rated tire anyway. What do you suggest for a very reasonibly priced replacement for all four. '92 SVX standard tires - now bridgestone potenza 225/50/ZR16
Would a v or h rated be ok - again I'm looking for inexpensive - also should I keep or offer up the three tires with only 10-15,000 miles on them?

third question - any idea on what I should ask - seems like SVX prices are all over the place. I replaced the transmission a couple years ago and the engine one year ago with a 60K or less engine plus water pump (the problem blowing) and associated items. Also a new radiater just a few months ago - I've done almost everything on this car, I love it, but needed a four door . I'm in the SF bay area. Let me know if you have an opinion on price range

Thanks,
jen

Caution: the following is pure opinion.

If I was going to look at the car as a buyer, then I think V rated tires are probably OK, but wouldn't like the H rating and would mentally take a few bucks off - how much is ???

As to replacement parts, I think it's been long enough ago on the transmission to practically discount the rebuild, and the engine being replaced with a used one, while nice to know, I doubt it would have much price effect either. The new radiator is probably worth more. I'm saying this because of a loosely formed opinion of what the average person might think about parts replaced a year or more ago. Maybe they feel different about cars out west.

Since I live nowhere near you all I can offer on suggested price is to look at Kelly Blue Book or Edmunds online

Tires I recommend are Continental Extreme Contacts. These were priced prettty good when I bought them. $83 each.

I have noticed that about the SVX prices also.

I would look at the Continental Extreme Contacts. I have them on one of my cars. They are quiet and ride very nice. I love them.

One the price, I would do what Lee suggested. Start by looking at KBB or the other online price place. The mileage, and general condition of the car will greatly affect the price. Are there door dings or dents, how is the wear on the interior, are lights burn out, does everything work. All of these things will affect the value. The Blue Book is usually a starting point, but price seems to be a little lower than that. The color may make the car more sought after as well. Good luck. If I had more to go on, I could maybe give a closer price.
