Tranny Cooler Line(s) ID

Need to blow out my 92s radiator tranny cooler.

Which line is the input line with the screen ?

Want to blow out any junk, not blow it in.

Thanks.
Lou

the inflow line is on the right hand (passenger) side. The outflow line (one you put pressure into for a back-flush) then is the left side.

I'd suggest you put a section of hose on the inflow line, then direct that into an empty milk jug or whatever. I was dumb enough to just let a section of hose dangle over an oil drain pan - bad planning when using compressed air.

Re: Cooler Line ID

Thanks. want to catch it and examine concents for any foreign particles.

Tell me about it, last week changing oil I decided to use a funnel to direct the old oil into the catch pan to prevent any stray drips off to the side of the pan.

Everything was going good till suddenly I had hot oil everywhere, forgot to consider the funnel's smaller outlet diameter vs the oil pan outlet. The funnel filled up and was overflowing on the top, and the oil was too hot to put my finger in the Dike.

Felt like a real idiot, but hopefully learned a valuable lesson about incomplete planning..
