Thumbs down This winter is BS!!!!!!!!

Okay, it's almost Christmas and we've recieved oh... about 1.5 inches of snow. Course, that's all melted by now, since it was in the 40s today, and we're SUPPOSEDLY in for some snow the 24th (I'll believe it when I see it) but then a few days after that, it's supposed to be 45 DEGREES OUT!

WTF?!?! I hate global warming. This is just lame. I want SNOW! I want LOTS Of snow! SNOW is the primary reason I chose the SVX over other GTs. AWD! And with pussified winters like this, I could be driving something with more power, and RWD!

ARGGHHH!H!!

SNOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

Rob,

Stop ranting. If you want to see snow, point your SVX north and start driving. Don't stop until some mounty tells you that the next reststop is in Russia.

Haha....global warming my behind. We have had more snow this December than we have had in the past 30 years.....and the month isn't even over yet!
Unfortunately, I haven't been home from school in a while and still had my summer treads on, which made driving home from State College a bear last weekend..........so I'm off to the shop to put my snow tires on!
Hope the snow comes your way soon Chicane! and hope all who have it enjoys it while it lasts.

likin it

I'm liking the weather. I only got a FWD. Im not afraid of driving in the snow. But I want to keep my Motegi's on for the "Tri-state Cruise". If it snows I'll need to switch back to the stock rims. I dont want to mess up my new rims, and the other tires have a little better traction in crappy conditions.

We haven't had a lot of snow here, either. But then I didn't expect to get a lot in Champaign. <sigh>

Here's what I get to look forward to:

Environment Canada's Official Canadian Weather Warnings
city of Winnipeg
8:36 PM CST Friday 2 January 2004

Weather warning for
city of Winnipeg continued
Snow and blowing snow should ease off tonight. But in the meantime
another 5 to 10 centimetres of snow are expected in parts of
southeastern Manitoba as well as blowing snow giving near blizzard
conditions.

The weather system tracking across the northern United States has intensified and already given 10 to 15 centimetres of snow to portions of southeastern Manitoba. Another 5 to 10 centimetres of snow is expected east of the Red River including Winnipeg and also including areas northeast of Winnipeg. Snow should taper off this Evening and overnight.. However strong northerly winds will keep visibilities at less than one kilometre creating blizzard like conditions. Visibilities should improve near dawn.

Cold Arctic air invading southern Manitoba will give wind chill values into the minus thirties for Saturday morning.
The snow is currently falling sideways!
