Angry CigarJohnny is broken down....

Not his car though. CigarJohnny injured his back on Mon (11/9). He has gone to his dr. a couple of times and is working on getting fixed. He will be laid up in bed for awhile.

He will join the forum again when he feels better. Prayers and good vibes sent our way for a speedy recovery would be appreciated.

Oh my gosh. I hope he feels better soon.

Has he thought about using a chiropractor? I have had good success with mine.

Me too. I once thought they were quacks. But then, after an incident involving a snow shovel and snow and walking around for three days like Quasimodo, my wife talked me into going to one. I've been sold ever since. Hopefully, soon, I'll have free chiropractic services as my stepson is studying to be a chiropractor.

So, tell Johnny, that the prayers and good vibes are coming his way from Kentucky. If they can make it through the rain we're having today, they should be there in a few hours.

Thanks, Guys! I just got back from my third visit to my chiropractor this week. He thinks it is not as bad as incidents I've had in the past, just very acute this time. Thankfully I still have personal time available from work that I have not used up yet. And it will be covered under workman's comp this time now that I am not self-employed. I still shuffle around like that Tim Conway character but I can sit for a few minutes straight. Most of the time I am flat on my back in bed. My lungs are getting congested from all the lying around so it feels good to stand or sit up when I can.

Keep those prayers and good vibes coming. They are most appreciated and needed! Hopefully I will back up and working in a week or two (please dear God! I cannot take the boredom!!).

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

I'd say it's time for a laptop so you can keep in touch in bed.

Seriously, though, I hope you have a quick and painless recovery, with lots and lots of good drugs in between.

I hope cigar johnny heals and feels wonderful shortly.
I never have trouble with my back. It's my front that always causes problems for me.

Thanks again guys! It really means a lot to me. I feel a little better and can sit up a little longer each day. Just wish things would stop breaking on me. First my SVX neds exaust and bearings, then the wifes wagon starts tranny probs, then I hurt my back, and today the motherboard fried on my main computer and I'm forced to run off my backup server. When will it ever end???

Hopefully tomorrow I will feel okay enough to sit and cobble one good PC from the two I have sitting here. Might have it done by the end of the day if I spend a few minutes at a shot on it. Then I can get my main apps going. Just wish I had a nice laptop and a wifi connection to the internet.
