Market for old transmissions?

Just wondering if there is a market for a unrebuilt transmission. It still has 1st gear and reverse, so its not totally shot. Has anyone had any success getting rid of one of these?

Hrm... I believe you can use them for boat anchors, urinals, or target practice.

Is the differential good? There are a few recent posts with people looking for that part of the transmission.

You might get something for the diff section at least.

One word that's not really a word, ebay. If it exists it can be sold on ebay. Actually some things that don't "exist" can be sold there too. I've seen everything from "nothing" to an "ass-kicking" being sold on ebay.

Please. Do you know if the transmission is rebuildable? Would you mind teling us what's in you SVX now, I mean why do you have this used transmssion? I may be interested, how much you like to get for this item? I am thinking I would like a spare but you are kind of far away.

Yes I'm sure that this could be rebuilt(not even sure if a full rebuild is needed or what. It is in my car now, and I drove it around the other day, and realized how much I missed not driving her, and how soon I need to get her back on the road. Instead of getting this rebuilt I am just going to swap it with another transmission that I found, that was recently rebuilt. Not really sure about a price yet so send me an email at buzpuck11@aol.com or PM me to make an offer.
