Finished the axles.... now a scraping noise...
I finished putting in both front rotors... it went okay...but now there is this weird 'scraping' noise coming from the drivers side front wheel well. It sounds EXACTLY like the disc isn't true, because its a 'scush' silence 'scush' silence 'scush' silence thing, and it still makes that noise when I hit the brakes, or I'm off the brakes. I'm guessing it might be one of those metal dust cover things I had to press onto the new axle. Anyone have any guesses?

Scraping noise
bent dust sheild JUST touching the rotor? It doesn't take much to make a lot of noise. Take a look with a light. No light in a place = contact.

I did that at work, drove home w/ that horrid noise and had a nice cut line in my dush shiled. put a big screw driver in there, pushed back, and all was good |
