shift kit

Michael, I purchased a shift kit several months ago before the kit included the resister. I bought a 680 ohm resister and placed in a configuration such as you did in your diagram. Now I get 16 blinks with the power light. I went into the diagnostic mode and got code 11. I disconnected the battery for a bit and once reconnected it seemed to fix the power light blink, but then this morning I started up and the 16 blinks of the old power light were back. Now I've removed the 680 ohm resister but of course no change in the 16 blinks. Any suggestions on what I should do now?
Thanks
David
