A/C Issue

A/C only works when it wants. All leaks repaired and system holds pressure. New condenser and accumulator. I press the 'AUTO' button, fan goes on and I get air flow. It may be cold. It may not. It just comes and goes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: A/C Issue

I'm having the same or similar problem with the AC on my 92.

I've taken it to the dealer twice already to have it fixed, and both times they've not found any problems. But still sometimes it blows cold and sometimes it doesn't.

So please relay anything you may find out. THANKS!

Re: A/C Issue

Does the clutch disengage when it start to blow hot or does the whole blower motor stop? I had a problem with mine it would work then not work, especially during the day. My problem after checking the usual suspects and codes was the A/C amplifier (control unit).

Have you guys pulled any codes from the control unit yet?
