Not seeing much of an advantage over stock other than separate runners. Not sure if you'd have any bottom end left with these..

Yup, the headers need to be taller in length.

keep thinking about getting a set of these but ask if they can make them far enough down to clear the cross member.

I want these for my 3.0R but I can't imagine how $$ they would be for the SVX.

Completely different. The 3.0/3.6 exhaust port are spaced equally, not like our 2 together/1 lonely arrangement.
