What is the SVX Hub Bore Diameter??

I d it and got 4 diff charts with 4 diff sizes(gotta love that internet info) listed for SVX: 70.1, 64.1, 57.1 and 56.1mm. It's got to be either 57.1 or 56.1mm. I don't have anything to measure that exact. I'm hoping that it is 56.1 like nearly all the other Subarus from the 90s .

Who's got the magic #?

Re: What is the SVX Hub Bore Diameter??

Looks like the 64 mm is the closest I measure . With calipers I get 2.485. I don't think it is even close to 2.1/4 inches 56mm,. Like I said this is me measuring it. Someone will have the right numbers. I bought rings to mount my rims but I forget the dim.
Could be the hub is a lot smaller than the rim hole Dia that I am measuring.

I ordered gorilla rings.
73 O.D.
57.1 I.D.
I just looked at the invoice and they have been on my car for almost a year.

Re: What is the SVX Hub Bore Diameter??

57.1 is correct.

But to add to the confusion, Transwheel Corporation has two wheels listed for our cars, each having a different bore and a different Hollander number.

They are not for the US market and I have never seen them referenced anywhere else or talked about on the network, but this image was taken from their wheel catalog

The wheel on the left is Hollander 68691 (SU29)
Pilot hole: 2-3/4" (69.85mm)

The wheel on the right is Hollander 68679 (SU23)
Pilot hole: 2-3/8" (60.325mm)

Re: What is the SVX Hub Bore Diameter??

Well, I got my rings (66.1-57.1) for my Maxima rims and they don't fit the SVX hub. Needs to be slightly smaller. I'm going to try the 56.1s and see. They did fit the rim right.

Re: What is the SVX Hub Bore Diameter??

I recently bought another set of centering rings to fit SVXRide's Mustang wheels onto The Racer.
The numbers are;
72.6 X 56.15.
It is a slip on fit, and does the job.
Aluminum, blue by the way, about $20.00.

I think that 56.15 looks right. It stands to reason that if an STI is 56.1 and you can use their rims on an SVX without drilling, then the SVX hub would have to be the same as or less than 56.1. Unless you DO have to drill them?

BTW- thanks Tom, I just got my sway-bar end-link bushings.
