Check to see if it's an LSD in the rear by jacking up the rear end of the car (both rear tires off the ground). If it's an open rear diff, the tires will spin the opposite direction of each other when one wheel is turned by hand and outback/legacy axles would be needed.
I believe he did the swap properly, so regular svx axles should be okay.
