Sponsorship Ideas for Players Run

Hey all. I'm about to get my invitation to enter the 2003 Players Run http://playersrun.com for the SVX but I need to get sponsors so that I can enter. Entry fee is $7500. Any ideas on who to contact where I could raise that much $?

Well, if you had a WRX, Subaru might be interested...or not...but with an SVX, I wonder if they'd bite.

How much publicity does this event get? I've never heard of it - is this the first year that it's been run? How do you know you're getting an invitation?

Do you know who's sponsoring other cars? That might tell you what industries are interested.

I still have some of the videos from the Gumball 3000 on my computer. Some sweet cars!!!

I think the SVX would have a better chance than the WRX. (perhaps excluding the STI) but I think it would still need 350-400hp to be competitive with the other cars that would be competing.
