Surges

Does everyone else's heater fans surge when the signal light is on?

For some reason there's a huge power drain when the signals are on and it's noticable in the heater fan.

It doesn't surge when the hazards are on.

Me too

Yep mine does it too. Very odd, but not too big a deal...

Mine does it too - old and new alternator and after wiring upgrade and even an optima red top battery. Makes me really not want to do an underdrive pulley any time soon.

At engine idle, mine oscilates up and down in the amount of air blowing out.

Underdrive pulleys will basically turn your alternator/ power steering/ AC slower - at the ultra low idle of an svx you aren't cranking out much already. I wouldn't recommend against one - alot of people here have them with -so far- no apparent problems.
With the amount of computer controlled functions in the svx I do not want to risk starving the brain of its lifeblood and I like my AC as cold as it can be.
Although I do think the svx has too much power assist in the steering - maybe I can get a bigger pulley for the power steering pump and slow that sucker down.
