Now that I don't need an entire wiring kit the Monster Cables are much more financially feasible.

Just for your information, I upgraded RCA's in my SVX to attempt to rid my system of alternator whine. It adversely affected the condition, and made it worse. The wiring to my alternator was stock at the time. When I put my engine back in, I will be upgrading the wire to the alternator, and also doing the alternator wiring mod.
Be ready to run some 4gauge wire to the battery from the alternator just in case. It was unreasonably loud in my car. Thank god my speakers are uber loud or it would have driven me crazy I cannot confirm the wiring upgrade will help alleviate the alternator whine, but it is a suspicion I have had for a while now (my engine has been out since before christmas)
