Die-cast SVXii (1:43 ~4")

This is likely old hat to people, but I've been doing a lot of SVX searches on eBay over that past couple years and I've never seen these pop up 'til now...

Only one has the stock wheels (the Pearlie) and some have aftermarket grills, spoliers & such...

I thought they were nifty nonetheless (if not overly expensive... ):

Linky

Edit: Found a couple colours a bit cheaper.

...and here...

Don't forget the JDM and other non USDM cars did have different wheel, grill, spoiler and other minor differences.

Re: Die-cast SVXii (1:43 ~4")

There are only 6 of the Die Cast Models available.

They are:

1) Pace Car
2) Pearl White
3) Bordeaux
4) Liquid Silver (3 tone)
5) Laguna Blue
6) Polo Green

I have never seen any others, but there are other colors that show up because of the lighting of the camera and model.

Re: Die-cast SVXii (1:43 ~4")

Here's the link to mine..

http://picasaweb..com/ryuasada/143SVXModel

Couple of things I didn't like on this model so I fixed them.
  • The rear sits slightly high
  • The rear axle off center
  • The rear spoiler not inserted well
  • The pin location on the headlight..

Re: Die-cast SVXii (1:43 ~4")

I searched for them too, but decided I'd rather pay more if they made it 1:18 with more functional details - like opening doors, etc. Unfortunately, it seems that no 1:18 or even 1:24 models of SVX exist...

Re: Die-cast SVXii (1:43 ~4")

what was the scale of the SVX that you could build? I have one, unbuilt, but cannot remember the scale.

Studio-27 made exclusive 1/24 kit, but only intended for well skilled modelers.
I posted the pix looong time ago...
