I spotted a red impreza on gold rims with a SVX steering wheel too, but couldn't find it again.


I really like some parts of this car, but alot of it is just

i've been looking at these - i need to stop.

this one looks identical to my old one - same chrome turbo wheels, but mine had tan interior instead of grey.

There is an old red Impreza in town here with a steering wheel that looks like an SVX wheel. I made a post about it in the "what parts are compatible from other cars" thread inquiring about it.

I just replaced the steering wheel in my Ebony with one from a 90 Legacy. Exact match.

Maybe it was a Legacy I saw. There was "Brighton" badge on the rear, but my memory is slightly fuzzy. Good deal though.

Both the early Legacys and Imprezas run the same wheel and airbag as the SVX...but not leather wrapped (except the Turbo Legacy, which I think has leather)...but the 90 Legacy didn't even have an airbag, at least the "L"'s did not for sure.

Neither did the 91. I believe the airbag was an option in 92 and later.
